NCsoft the developers of Aion have announced new double XP weekends in a bid to help members level up a little quicker, which has been a major area of complaint from current players. We have an in-depth preview for Heavy Rain’s second major scene – The Mall, again this will contain some spoilers so don’t read if you don’t want to know anything until the games release. Plus we also preview EA Montreal’s new co-op game, Army of Two: The 40th Day. In which we go through all the new changes implemented by the developers in a bid to improve the co-op experience. NCsoft’s fantasy MMO Aion is now having its Solorius Festival in which members can take part in the festive celebrations around Atreia. EA Montreal the developers of Army of Two say they have learnt a lot from reading all the reviews they had for their original title which has helped them in creating an improved sequel. And you can read more from EA Montreal as their Producer Alain Tascan discusses the upcoming sequel with us in our exclusive interview. Wii owners who are curious to know what big titles are due out early next year can read the 2010 line-up announced by Nintendo today. We have new footage of Chris Redfield and Sheva in next years DLC for Resident Evil 5, both wearing new costumes and fighting in the new Mercenaries Reunion mode. Developers Activision have refused to comment on whether or not there is a possible Prototype 2 in the works. As the latest class update is released for Team Fortress 2 we go in to detail as to why you should be tempted to pick the demoman as your side in battle. Microsoft seem pretty confident that their upcoming title Halo Reach will be the biggest game of 2010, but we think there are 5 other possible contenders who could challenge for the prestigious title. And in today’s GamerZines Game Of The Year Award we pick out the game with the best story, any guesses?

In one of the recent screenshots released by Rare for Perfect Dark, which is being remade as an arcade game for Xbox Live, there appears to be a screen of Peter Molyneux making a cameo appearance. In Sony’s next firmware update (3.15) there is set to be a PSP Minis emulator included which will allow you to play PSP Minis on the PS3. We venture outside in Metro 2033 and experience the great outdoors, well it would be if it wasn’t radioactive and swarming with mutants, read our first impressions here. Now that 2009 is coming to an end we’ve decided to go through this years games and give out awards, today we award a game for having the best graphics. Tecmo Koei’s upcoming third person shooter ‘Quantum Theory‘ will now be coming to the Xbox 360 after initially being developed exclusively for the PS3. The classic N64 game Perfect Dark is being re-created by Rare for Xbox Live Arcade and they have now released some new screenshots of the game. Gearbox have remained tight-lipped over a Borderlands sequel, not revealing whether the next instalment is in development yet. Left 4 Dead 2 is apparently more mod friendly than the original according to L4Dmods.com, so expect new custom-made models mods arriving soon. Team 17 the developers of the soon to be released Alien Breed: Evolution Xbox Live Arcade game have been explaining their exclusivity to the Xbox 360. And after an hours play on Darksiders we give you our first impressions of the game as War battles it out on earth against a whole load of demonic bad guys.

A new trailer has been released for next years eagerly anticipated MMO, Guild Wars 2. The trailer previews all 5 playable races in Tyria. R.U.S.E will soon get two new playable factions for the beta, with the inclusion of British and Russians factions. Fans of the horror game Dead Space will be happy to know that there is a sequel on the way, as EA confirm Isaac Clarke is back in action. Developers Southpeak have clarified the release date of Dementium II on the DS. Modern Warfare 2 is still king of the UK charts this week at number one, with FIFA 10 and Assassins Creed II second and third respectively. And in our blog we discuss the battle between the two big war franchises, Call of Duty and Medal of Honour as they go up against each other next year.
