This was the week that the Arkham Asylum demo hit PS3 and 360, so that’s pretty much the highlight, but with the summer of arcade still in full swing there was still stuff to spend money on.

Xbox Live

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum (demo).  I’ve already given my views on this demo here.
  • Dynastry Warriors 6: Empires – Additional Music Set 3. More free music.
  • Call of Juarez: BiB – Old West Map Pack (800 Points). 4 additional multiplayer maps.
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 – Cog Hill Course (400 Points). Yet another add on course – expect your local 18 holes to appear here soon.
  • Call of Duty: WaW – Map Pack 3 (800 Points). 3 new multi-player and one new zombie map and some more Achievements.

PSN

  • Batman: Arkham Asylum (demo). A demo available on PS3 before Xbox for a change. Well worth 1.5 GB of your hard drive.
  • TV Show King. A quiz game with absolutely no publicity. I’ll stick with Buzz. (£7.99)
  • Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic (demo). Months after the game was released we get a demo. Some kind of weird mix of Super Smash Brothers and Little Big Planet.
  • Dynastry Warriors 6: Empires – Additional Music Set 3. More free music.
  • Call of Juarez: BiB – Old West Map Pack (£7.99). 4 additional multiplayer maps.
  • Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 – Cog Hill Course (£3.19). Yet another add on course – expect your local 18 holes to appear here soon.
  • Call of Duty: WaW – Map Pack 3 (£7.99). 3 new multi-player and one new zombie map and some more Achievements.Noticably more expensive on PS3
  • Savage Moon – Waldgeist Pack (£3.19)
  • Little Big Planet – inFamous Cole Costume (£1.59)

Nintendo

Virtual Console.

  • The Revenge of Shinobi (Megadrive) (800 Points)

Wii Ware

  • Bonsai Barber (1000 Points)

DSi Ware

  • City Transport Maps 1 & 2 (500 Points each). Various European city maps

Pick of the Week

For me the Arkham Asylum demo is the highlight as so much has been made of it and its actually pretty good.
