This is the last issue of MMOZine, but that doesn’t mean we can’t say goodbye to the old girl in style!

This month we declare which are the best MMOs of the year, we rattle down this magazine’s illustrious history and we have a chat with Trion Worlds about RIFT’s bulky and brilliant new expansion, Storm Legion. We also take a look at Age of Wulin, The War Z and find out what the free-to-play browser-based experience City of Steam is all about. MMOZine will soon be gone, but it won’t be easily forgotten.

You can download the magazine now and read it whenever you choose, which we would recommend doing because it will look a lot better or if you prefer you can read the magazine directly in your browser.

Now that all the big MMO heavy hitters are out of the way, you’d think that it’d be time for MMOZine to wind down for 2012, but you’d be wrong! This month we have the latest in the on-going saga to save City of Heroes from impending closure, a preview of Petroglyph’s MMORTS End of Nations, and we take the latest Lord of the Rings expansion into the field for a quick ride. Oh we also have the latest on Transformers Universe – well as much as Jagex were willing to tell us. 2012 has plenty of life in her yet!

We’ve talked about Guild Wars 2 for years, and in this special issue we finally give it the review treatment – an epic 6 page review treatment, but that’s not all. We also have an exclusive interview with Blizzard detailing why Mists of Pandaria will permanently change World of Warcraft’s landscape, we put Planetside 2 through its paces and discover a game from the East which is unlike anything we’ve experienced before. How intriguing…

If we can steal you away from Guild Wars 2 for a few minutes, you might want to know what’s in this issue of MMOZine. We take the Sylvari class for a spin, interview Gameforge to find out what RaiderZ is all about and we give our definitive thoughts on why The Secret World might just be the most innovative MMORPG of the year. Oh and before we forget, there’s also a great feature discussing how Need For Speed World bounced back from potential disaster. Give us a read – then you can go back to more public questing.

E3 2012. Despite the biggest event on the gaming calendar usually being associated with retail rather than online gaming, there was a truckload of new games, news and content confirmed at this year’s big event and we’ve detailed it all in this special issue of MMOZine, but that’s not all. We also take a look at the latest update to hit Runes of Magic, put The Secret World’s end-game through its paces, take F1 Online for a spin and find out whether the colourful MOBA Super Monday Night Combat is worth spending time with.

Open your eyes and lend us your ears, as this issue of MMOZine is all about sights and sounds, as well as long words and pretty pictures. This month we have insights from our latest experiences with The Secret World, put Auto Club Revolution through its paces and discover why TERA is the kind of MMORPG that just doesn’t make its way to market any more. We also have an interview with industry legend Carrie Gouskos as she tells us how BioWare Mythic plan to share their love of Warhammer with absolutely everyone. An odd mix to be sure, but a compelling one nonetheless.

Take a peak inside MMOZine this month and you’ll see an altogether shinier design than you’re used to, but worry not as we’re still covering the best online experiences to be had on PC and consoles, with Dust 514, Command and Conquer: Tiberium Alliances, Guild Wars 2 and the extraordinarily ambitious MMORPG TERA all featuring in what is a bumper issue.
