It’s time to put your hood up, shave your head, and don your haunting mask. (more…)

We’re now on first-name terms with the postie, such is the frequency of his deliveries. And what deliveries we’ve had. In this issue alone we have the first batch of the winter gaming warmers, which include FIFA 13, F1 2012, Rocksmith, LittleBigPlanet for the Vita and everyone’s favourite game at the moment, Dishonored. Get the issue now, if only to find out what all the fuss is about.

We’ve also been lucky enough to have a copy of Assassin’s Creed III in the office, which is never out of the PS3. Find out our first impressions of this dramatic threequel inside.

You can download the magazine now and read it whenever you choose, which we would recommend doing because it will look a lot better or if you prefer you can read the magazine directly in your browser.

Grab some friends and get involved! In this month’s 360Zine it’s all about the multiplayer from Halo 4, to Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, and many more. We’ve dissected all of 2012’s most promising multiplayer offerings to determine which ones will see you through into the New Year and beyond.

Better yet, we’ve got the latest on Ubisoft’s highly-anticipated Assassin’s Creed 3. How will latest ancestor Connor Kenway be fending off the competition this holiday? There’s only one way to find out…

We’ve also got reviews of Hong Kong cop thriller Sleeping Dogs and robotic symphony Transformers: Fall of Cybertron as well as all the latest from Xbox Live Arcade’s newest arrivals.

The summer might be over but the gaming season is just getting starting.

We can’t help but stare into space thinking about the life we lost; wondering about how we could have avoided this melancholic existence… and then suddenly a digital magazine came into our lives. Suddenly we no longer sought refuge at the bottom of a bottle, not when we could read all the latest previews and reviews, including Rockstar’s reinvention of Remedy’s film noir detective Max Payne – did you see what we did there? This issue of PCGZine is not only exciting because of the dozen or so games we’ve covered this month, but it’s also the first issue which sports our exciting new redesign. You’re going to love it.

Bullet time is back! This month we take a look at not one, but two games featuring the stupendously satisfying slow-mo bullet-cam, with WW2 shooter Sniper Elite V2 and Rockstar’s spectacularly cinematic Max Payne 3 scoping each other out for chart success.

We also take an early look at Assassin’s Creed III, revealing the background and motives behind new assassin Connor, and settle down with Battlefield 3’s latest expansion pack Close Quarters. Is Battlefield 3 really heading into Call of Duty territory?

Plus we review Ridge Racer Unbounded, FIFA Street, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and more!

Hot on the perfectly formed heels of 360Zine, P3Zine is the next of our magazines to undergo the redesign treatment. Much like the magazine equivalent of Pimp My Ride, we’ve taken the old mag, stripped out everything that was looking slightly tired or rusty and then replaced it with only the shiniest pixelated perfection. And what a beauty it now is.

We’ve upped the interactivity, added more video and scattered a stunning selection of clickable items or roll-overs. Simply keep an eye out for the interactive marker and it’ll point the way to either a video, enhanceable screenshot, caption or boxout. As ever though, your thoughts mean everything to us, so let us know if you like the mag, don’t (bit unlikely, but you never know) or what you’d like to see in it. Trust us, we read every email you send us and your feedback counts.

Back to the games and this issue celebrates its makeover with a frankly jaw-dropping gathering of the gaming delights either on PS3 now or heading that way soon. Featured in this very issue are (deep breath) Assassin’s Creed 3, The Last of Us, Prototype 2, Max Payne 3, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, SSX, Mass Effect 3 and, believe it or not, much more.
