GTA: Chinatown WarsEngland captain John Terry has been talking about how he and his fellow team mates enjoy playing the Xbox 360 whilst away on international duty. Upcoming zombie killer, Left 4 Dead 2, is all set to feature a new multiplayer mode called ‘Scavenge’ involving gas canisters and a time limit, which is always going to be an interesting combination. The 3rd and last part of our exclusive interview with Army of Two: The 40th Day producer Matt Turner is now up on the site for you to read. You can download the new issue of PlayZine for free. And this month we take a look at the upcoming arcade racer, Need For Speed: Nitro. Which brings fast paced action to the race track as well as an in-depth customisation system that brings in famous lifestyle brands such as tokidoki, Upper Playground and i am 8-bit who have all created custom skins, brushes and in-car designs for the game. Along with this preview we have an exclusive interview with the game’s producer, who gives us the low-down on what to expect from the new racer, plus we have some exclusive screens of the uniquely designed cars, oh and we also have a video of the cars in full throttle action!

GTA IV: Ballad of Gay TonyDevelopers Eidos have confirmed that the new Batman Arkham Asylum DLC will be coming out next week. It looks like there will be a new HD Sonic game out in 2010 which sees the iconic hedgehog go back to his 2D style roots. We have a new trailer for GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony, the second Xbox 360 exclusive episode which will be released in October on the 29th. Developers Polyphony have revealed that the highly anticipated racer – Gran Turismo 5 will have head-tracking support. And finally you can get the Wii horoscope channel available tomorrow, which is free to download.

Rockstar have announced that the DS “exclusive” GTA: Chinatown Wars will be released on PSP this Autumn. Exclusives aren’t what they used to be. Perhaps the poor sales on DS were a deciding factor or perhaps they were going to do it anyway.

They promise that it will make full use of the wide screen, with better graphics and lighting, but presumably the stylus dependent mini games will be absent. They are also going to add in some extra stories and will make it available on both UMD and via download. (more…)
