NCsoft the developers of Aion have announced new double XP weekends in a bid to help members level up a little quicker, which has been a major area of complaint from current players. Tecmo Koei’s upcoming third person shooter ‘Quantum Theory‘ will now be coming to the Xbox 360 after initially being developed exclusively for the PS3. Left 4 Dead 2 is apparently more mod friendly than the original according to L4Dmods.com, so expect new custom-made models mods arriving soon. Team 17 the developers of the soon to be released Alien Breed: Evolution Xbox Live Arcade game have been explaining their exclusivity to the Xbox 360. And after an hours play on Darksiders we give you our first impressions of the game as War battles it out on earth against a whole load of demonic bad guys.

Red Dead Redemption the highly anticipated western themed action game by Rockstar has had the month of its release confirmed, with it due out in April next year. Valve have announced that their hugely popular zombie bashing game Left 4 Dead was the Xbox 360’s best-selling new IP in 2008. And thinks are looking even better for the zombie sequel Left 4 Dead 2 with the recently released title outselling the original 4 times in size in pre-orders alone. World of Warcraft is getting a new holiday added to its events, with the arrival of thanksgiving. Users can now get new achievements, new titles and a pet turkey. And lastly in are strangest story of the day, a man in Japan has married his video game girlfriend from the DS game Love Plus in real life.


The director of the White Knight Chronicles Yoshiaki Kusuda believes there lot of work to be done for the JRPG genre to gain lost ground as it’s currently losing momentum in Japan. Modern Warfare 2 could have featured aliens & zombies before the writers opted for the Russia, America war plot. The producer of the upcoming Command & Conquer 4 game Raj Joshi, has been saying some pretty interesting remarks about RTS players. We take a look at the Modern Warfare 2 effect, as other titles look to have benefited form the giant titles success.
